SECRETS OF THE SOUTH

Often visitors to the Amalfi Coast have only scratched it's surface of culinary treasures. To find some of it's best kept secrets you must head higher up still into the mountains, far above the tourist towns.

Our home for the week is on the coast at Hotel Raito.

Napoli is the beating heart of the south. It's loud and delicious. Wood-fired pizza and street food galore.

Enjoy some of the finest seafood in Italy. Learn to make pasta, a perfect marinara sauce using local San Marzano D.O.P. tomatoes grown in the volcanic soil of Mt. Vesuvius, and taste fresh mozzarella on the farm.

5 Nights accommodations at Hotel Raito Wellness Spa and 2 nights at Il Moro in Positano. Our first portion of the trip is at Hotel Raito, located just above the village of Vietri Sul Mare, and is within walking distance to tiny shops, bars, and cafes, making it a perfect location to explore on your own and get to know the locals.

DAY 1 ARRIVE IN RAITO

We will pick you up at Naples airport or train station, according to your needs. Check into Hotel Raito and explore the little village.

DAY 2 WINE TASTING ON THE COAST

Lunch and wine tasting overlooking the Bay of Naples. Evening in Salerno with dinner al fresco and passagiata.

DAY 3 CHOCOLATE, CHEESE, & FIGS

Head further south into the Cilento National Park area to visit an organic buffalo mozzarella farm, fig and chocolate tasting, and a walk through the oldest Greek ruins in Italy. Casual dinner tonight in Cetara.

DAY 4 COOKING CLASS IN ALBORI

Today we cook at an organic farm with view. Rest of the day free to relax by the pool then tonight dinner together.

DAY 5 FULL DAY IN NAPOLI

Guided tour of the city. Try the local street foods including pizza fritta in the Quartiere Spagnoli, arancini, fritto misto, gelato and sfogliatelle. Visit the artisan market of San Gregorio Armeno and head underground into the catacombs of San Gennaro, the city's patron saint. Dinner at Tandem for some of the best Neapolitan ragu on earth.

TRANSFER TO POSITANO

Today we transfer to Il Moro for 2 nights in Positano. Hotel Il Moro is a boutique hotel within walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants, beaches, and bars.

DAY 6 NIGHTLIFE IN POSITANO

Lunch on your own in Positano. Before dinner, a make up artist will visit to create a gorgeous look for the night out, Mediterranean style.

DAY 7 SAIL ALONG THE COAST

Hop a boat to Amalfi and get the best view of the villages from the sea. Stop at grottos along he way back to Amalfi. Free time in Amalfi. Farewell dinner tonight in Salerno.
